SAMANTHA FRENCH : ARTIST FEATURE

I collect art prints, especially from Etsy, for a gallery wall over the sofa in my living room. I prefer the ones on archival paper, and they are typically signed by the artist. Purchasing art prints directly from the artist is a great way to get the art you love at an affordable price. Plus, you can easily add to or switch out the pieces in your collection. The print above by Samantha French looks killer hanging on my wall. I have a love affair with figurative art. (I think it is mainly because drawing realistic people in graphic design school was something I could not master no matter how long I practiced.) Underwater, figurative art is particularly interesting to me, and Samantha French is definitely one of my faves. Her work is somehow realistic yet painterly at the same time. Her colors are intense and fresh, and the quality of the brush strokes makes you want to reach out and touch them.
