ANNOUNCING STACEYDAYPAPER.COM

I am thrilled to announce the launch of my website! It has taken working in the wee hours of countless nights (since that seems to be the only time of day I have to myself with a toddler and an infant…most mothers know how that goes), but I am finally able to release “some” of my site. Most of it is still in the production phase — as you can see, but I am currently taking custom orders and will hopefully be able to get some ready-made designs on here very soon.

After years of creating invitations here and there as a freelance art director, mostly for my friends and family, I have decided to make paper goods my primary focus of design. I love all things pretty + modern + clean. I lean towards minimalism in design, but I am always experimenting with the latest trends. Paper goods really excite me. I love receiving invitations and other correspondence in the mail. Worthy pieces even hang on my fridge for me to admire when I enter the kitchen. I especially love the feel of a letterpressed wedding invitation in my hands. They are so luxurious and special and such a beautiful art form. So why would I not want to spend all my design time on something I love so much?! :)

Minted.com has had a big part in this too. It is such a fantastic website made up of many many super-talented designers, and I have been lucky enough to have a few designs selected to be sold on the site. One of my Christmas card designs was selected as a 1st place winner out of 650 designs!! I was over-whelmed by the response it received, and I felt very honored to have been chosen out of so many beautiful designs.

Please check back often for new designs on staceyday.com, and be sure to visit my designer page on minted.com for information about my designs for sale exclusively through their site. This card, “white christmas” will be for sale soon along with a few other designs that have recently been selected. Be sure to reserve this card for your family Christmas card this year. Imagine how adorable your family would look surrounded by a flurry of snowflakes :).

Thank you to all my family + friends for supporting me with my new endeavor. I appreciate all your help and critiques on the site and value your opinions more than you know.

I have designed websites before, but designing something for myself has been really stressful…as I am my toughest critic. So I’m sure it will be ever-evolving and changing. I would love to hear from anyone who has seen the site — please let me know what you think!
